" WAIT!" She called but then woke up in a cold sweat. She got ip and padded over to the apprentices den and check on her sleeping kits.

Mousepaw blinked slowly as his mother entered the den. He yawned widely before saying, "Something wrong?"
Blackheart raced after his mate, noticing something was wrong.
"Is everything okay?" he meowed.

She sighed in relif. " nothing sweet one just go back to sleep. " she told mousepaw and went and licked his forehead. She walked back out. " im not sure my love. " shereplied to black heart

Mousepaw shrugged slightly and went back to sleep, keeping his ears pricked slightly to listen to their conversation.

Blackheart tilted his head to the side, confused.
" What do you mean? I'm feeling pretty confident of our chances, even if Star's not," Blackheart meowed.

Shadow shook her head. "Thats not what i mean. The cats in the dark forest said that i must join them or our kits will suffer. that i must not have any faith in starclan anymore." She told him on the edge of breaking down.

"They're just bluffing, they can't do anything. Sure, Blood may have controlled them at one point, but Star said that they'll have a better chance of fighting him and anyone else off should they try it again. Are kits are safe, we have nothing to worry about. If you're still worried, we can talk to Star after the ceremony," Blackheart meowed, uneasiness gnawing at his heart.

"Star once told us that WolfClan will always have the protection of StarClan on our side. The blood of WolfClan warriors runs in our kits' blood, so now they have that protection. We can talk to Star after the ceremony, and maybe find a way to end this war before someone gets hurt. I won't let anyone hurt my family. If they try...," Blackheart ended his sentence in a snarl and dug his claws into the ground.
Mousepaw twitched his ear, worry and fear coursing through his veins. Suddenly, an unfamiliar scent wreathed around him, soothing his fear.
"All will be all right, young one. You needn't fear this night, I shall watch over you," Sootpelt whispered.

Shadow watched him as her snarled and dug his claws into the ground. "Calm down my love, I Just want the kits to be safe." She told him and went back into the den. SHe went to each of her kits and nudged them so they would wake up.
Teapaw stirred. " Mother?" She meowed tiredly.
Blackpaw slwly opened his eyes and blinked a few times.

Mousepaw stopped feigning sleep and woke up, stretching and shaking himself. Blackpaw scratched himself behind the ear before getting up.
"Is it time for our ceremony?" Blackpaw meowed, his eyes glowing.

Mousepaw quickly noted the seriousness in his mother's eyes and tone and he nodded slowly, his ear twitching. He padded out of the den, noticing Wolffang walking into the camp, her eyes shining with warmth and happiness. He tilted his head to the side curiously, wondering what she had been doing out of the camp.
"What is it? What's wrong?" Blackpaw asked curiously, his ice-blue eyes glowing with curiosity.

Shadow looked at her children. "I will explain it all but not here." She told them.

"Okay, race you to the den, Teapaw!" Blackpaw meowed, darting toward his mother's den.
Mousepaw followed more slowly, many thoughts filling his head.

Blackheart looked at his mate worridely for a second before padding after them. He entered the den and looked at Blackpaw with some amusement as his son's paws twitched excitedly. He then looked at Mousepaw, marvelling once again at how much he looked like a WolfClan cat, with his amber eyes and long fangs plus his quiet, serious, demeanor. Blackpaw and Teapaw, however, had the ice-blue eyes of an EagleClan cat, much like their cousin, Nightwing. He looked at Mousepaw, wondering how his storm-gray pelt looked so much like his former mate Rainstorm.
As though his thoughts had summoned her, her scent wreathed around him and her voice whispered "We'll watch over the special ones."

Shadow slowly padded in after them. She was unsure of how to begin. "Listen to me young ones, Soon you shall be warriors of eagleclan but there is more behind it then it seems. I wish i could explain more but i a unclear of it my self. I will have a very important decision to make and it involes you three, as well as the clans and even starclan. I just want you three to know, that if any cat you are unsure of wonders into your dreams please dont listen to them." Shadow stressed..

"StarClan will watch over them, just trust us," Rainstorm purred.
Mousepaw twitched his ear and said, "There was a she-cat this morning who smelled like WolfClan. You told me not to worry and made me feel safe. Are you saying I shouldn't have listened to her?"
"That's Sootpelt, my love. She'll help watch the young ones as well," Rainstorm whispered in Blackheart's ear.
Blackheart felt a shiver go up his spine at the sound of her voice.
