"Your sister might disagree with that statement," Sun began.

"As would your father," finished a black tom with stars in his pelt and light blue eyes.

"True, but he's not as pure as you think," Blood growled.

Nightwing looked at the she-cat that appeared beside her and meowed, "I'll live, who are you?"

"You won't live long," Blazefire sneered, flexing his claws.

"Hasn't your mother ever told you not to harm a she-cat?" sneered a golden brown tom with dark blue eyes, walking out from behind Blood Tree.

Shadow looked away from sun then heard a new voice. " I'm just do confused.... My whole life was a lie. " shadow said. "I dont deserve the star to the end of my name. " she said.

Leaf glared at Blood. "Anyone is purer that you." she told him and sliced his shoulder blade.

NightRose looked at Nightwing. "I'm NightRose. A TigerClan warrior." she said with pride. She looked over to BlazeFire. "if you touch her you will suffer. " she spatted. She may not know the injured she cat but she was not going to let her die.

"Shadowstar, I have known and watched over you since the second you were born. You, more than any cat I have seen, deserve to be a leader," the black tom meowed, raising her chin with his tail.

"You really think so? Well, my dear, let me tell you that there are cats less pure than me. Cats that your beloved Sun knows very well," Blood hissed, disappearing again.

"You and your pathetic Clan don't scare us, little warrior," Blazefire hissed.

"You may not be scared of her but you should be scared of me," the golden tom growled, stepping up beside the two she-cats.

Blazefire laughed and said, "Why on earth should I be afraid of you?"

"Because, I'm Seto," the tom replied, smirking slightly as Blazefire hissed.

"Your name makes no difference to us. We'll kill you all," Coalpaw boasted.

Darkfoot slapped his tail over Coalpaw's mouth and silenced him with a look.

Shadow looked at the tom. "Why are you bothering me with these storys... " she said. "I un not full blood like i thought.. No wonder i had to work so much more. I thought it was because Blood was my father, but now that i know that was a lie, and that the she cat that i thought was my mother, was a lie too.... i just am so confused." She continued.

Leaf looked at Blood. "I refused to believe you."

Night looked at the golden tom and then looked at blaze. "You should be scared of me... I have taken a badger on and escaped alive. Have you?" She taunted....

The tom's eyes hardened before he spoke, "Shadowstar, you are the leader of EagleClan, not a kit. What happened in your life was sad, but it made you stronger, did it not? It does not matter that Blood is not your father, you should be happy that he is not! You need to realize that what's past is past, you need to focus on the present, the future. No matter how much you or I may wish to change past, you are who you are because of it. As a father, I am proud of what you have accomplished, Shadowstar of EagleClan."

Blood laughed coldly, "It matters not what you believe, it does not make it any less true."

"I have faced things more terrible than you can ever imagine, little she-cat...As for you, Seto, since when have the affairs of Clan and rogues concerned you?" Blazefire hissed.

Seto glared at Blazefire coldy, his blue eyes blazing with fire, making Blazefire flinch and step back a pace, as he replied, "They started to concern me when you decided to take it upon yourself to threaten defenseless she-cats."

Shadow looked at the Tom. " Your my father?" she asked as she straighten up. "You left me to believe all the lies I was told... Do you know how many fights I had gotten in because of the lie everyone was told to believe?" she asked him as she continued she grew louder and got more anger. "How could you!" she yowled at him.

Leaf just looked around.

Night looked at Seto and then at blaze. " he would get far... I wasn't always in the clans. " she hissed

"My name is Bravewolf, I was once known as one of the strongest and wisest of cats. What happened to you was a tragedy, something that should have never happened. If I could turn back time and stop Blood from killing me, believe me I would, my daughter," the tom replied, his eyes filled with sadness.

Seto looked at Nightrose for a second, somewhat interested, before turning back to the rogues and smirking at their fear.

"Look Seto I'm willing to compromise, leave now and you won't get hurt," Darkfoot meowed anxiously.

"Heh, and leave these helpless she-cats to die? I don't think so," Seto growled, eyes blazing.

"I don't get it, why should we be afraid of a loner and a couple of she-cats?" Coalpaw asked curiously.

Shadow really looked at the tom this time and saw that he was from starclan. "Non eof that matters! You could have came down at any point and told me the truth or send me a sign in my dreams, no instead you watched me strugle and fight just for something to eat. There wwere many days i almost went to bed hungry in new leaf because so warriors and appertices would not let me get near the fresh kill pile unless i had a mouse or something to add to it. But i changed that. With no help from you or Starclan. What did i ever do to anger starclan to make me suffer all those years?" She asked Her meows becoming shorter and shorter as she tried to hold back her pain.
Leaf just stoped. "You can believe what ever you want Blood, i can change my Path where yours you can never change from it!" She told him
NightRose growled at Seto. "I am NOT helpless!" She yowled at him in annoyance. "I trained with the best and i am the best. I can destroy these cat easily. " she hissed at him and the other cats. "I may not be as well know as you Seto but i can change that really fast." She remarked.

"My child, I begged StarClan to let me tell you. They would not let me. They said that must go through this, that it would make you stronger; make you the leader you needed to be to save your Clan. I would have died an infinite amount of times if it would have stopped your suffering, believe me," Bravewolf meowed, his eyes and voice betraying the sadness and pain he tried to hide.

"Ah, but can Sun change his path? Can he change the dark path he has been put upon?" Blood laughed.

"Well, seeing how it was practically three on one-not counting the rest of the rogues that are hidden around us- it seemed to me that you were pretty helpless. If I had not come when I did, you would be dead," Seto replied, smirking.

Shadow looked at her father. "I could have still be as strong. and even stronger if i would have know the truth. ! I believe Blood when her promised me safety for me and the kits just because he was my father. I almost killed Star, My mates Brother!" Shadow started to yell at him more and more. "I will still save everyone but Star clan has made me weak. You have made me weak." She spatted at him and walked back to the group with NightRose and NightWing.

Leaf walked towards Blood. "No cat is put on a path, they choose it and they can change the path when the see what fits them." Leaf told him.

NigthRose looked at Seto. "At least i would have went down fighting and i would have taking at least one cat with me. " She mewed glaring at Coalpaw.

"Shadowstar, believe me, I would have loved nothing more than to tell you the truth, I would have loved nothing more than to be the father I wanted to be, to always be there for you. I came back to right the wrongs I had done, I want your forgiveness, though I will understand if I don't get it," Bravewolf choked out, his eyes glistening with unshed tears.

"But how can Sun change his path if it's too dark to see two pawsteps ahead?" Blood challenged.

"You would really kill a naive young apprentice? And here I thought warriors had more honor," Seto growled, he hated when others picked on young cats.

Shadwo turned around. "You will never get my forgiveness... And tell starclan, i lost faith in them, because they lost faith in me." She said as tears rolled down her whiskers.
Leaf looked at Blood. "I will Light his way." She told him.
Night looked at Seto. "Is that a challenge?" She growled

"You're wrong, Shadowstar. StarClan never lost faith in you. We have always watched over you and the other chosen ones, always guided you, never losing hope, never losing faith," Bravewolf meowed, tears leaking from his eyes.

Blood laughed and said, "It's too late, his destiny is set in stone."

"Normally, I would have no problem teaching you a lesson. But, currently, we have a much bigger problem on our paws," Seto replied curtly.

"Get over your lovers' quarrel, it's making me sick," Coalpaw meowed sourly.

Shadow spun around. "dot try to tell me they didn't lose faith, they did. If they hadn't they would have let you tell me or they would have sent me a dream.... All I know now are lies and disappointment. " she said looking at her paws and then she ran back to her clan.
Leaf looked at Blood. "it is never too late to help the ones you love.... And the future is never set in stone just the past. " lead remarked to him.
Night looked a Seto. " Sure that's the reason you won't fight me.." she snorted and began to walk away. "I was just trying to help as I get threaten and dishonored. " she said.

"Shadowstar, they didn't tell you for this very reason; because you would reject them and hate them for it. Know this, Shadowstar: no matter how much you may hate StarClan and I, I will always love and look after you," Bravewolf meowed, following his daughter.

"Really? Then I suppose you must hurry, Sun's destiny is drawing closer," Blood hissed.

"Wait...I'm sorry, I should not have treated you as I have. You seem like a nice cat, and honorable enough. However, throughout the course of my life, I've learned to be untrusting and have tried to keep from forming ties with others," Seto said gruffly, not wanting her to leave.

"What else am i suppost to do? Sit and wait for more to happen. I thought i could hurt Blood, i thought i could destroy him. Because from the stories they say only the one who shares blood with Blood can destroy him. " shadow said.

"So is yours!" Leaf spatted at Blood and began circling im and flicked her tail to the others to get ready for battle.

Night turned around. "You dishonor me and then want me to stay? Can you make up your mind. I had a rough past and i cant trust a tom, but that doesnt mean i will dishonor one. If they challenge me to a fight i would fight. " She told him stomping her paws in anger.

"Shadowstar, only the chosen cats can stop Blood. You are one of them. You can't just leave your Clan and kin to the mercy of Blood. I died to protect you and EagleClan, don't let my sacrifice be in vain," Bravewolf meowed.

"Ah, but now you must make a choice: turn Sun away from his dark path, or kill me. The clock is ticking and your sister's life hangs in the balance," Blood growled coldly.

"Leaf, as much as I would love to kill Blood, the final decision is up to you," Star meowed.

"All my life, I've done everything I could to protect my little brother, even joined up with one of the cruelest cats in the forest. He taught me many things and abused me physically, mentally, and emotionally, turning my heart to ice. Yet I endured all this suffering to keep my brother safe. I don't expect you to understand but, I am who I am because I want to protect my brother," Seto meowed.

Sun twitched his ear irritably, hearing a faint whispering in his head. He shook himself, trying to rid himself of it. Then, his world went dark, and his only thought was: kill Shadowstar.

Shadow looked at her father. "leave me be. Im done with you. If you didnt protect us and let them kill you, you could have told me the truth!" she yowled in pain at him.

Leaf looked at Blood then looked at star. "Star take everyone and go find Shadow, help her. She may need it." She turned back to Blood. "You will die now. " She told him.

Night looked at him. "I joined the clans because i was weak and hungry. It was the middle of leafbare and i was lucky the clan even took me in. If the clan would not of taken me in i would have died." She told him and then looked away waiting for them to make fun of her.

"You want the truth? Fine, the truth is that I'm your father, and your mother is a rogue. Your mother left before Blood could kill her. It was while I was bringing you to her that I died. You must learn to live and accept your heritage. I will never leave you alone, Shadowstar, not as long as my blood is coursing through your veins," Bravewolf growled.

"Ah, but if I die, who's to stop Sun from killing Shadowstar? He's too close, you'll never make it in time," Blood growled.

"We can try, Wolffang, get them out of here," Star growled.

Wolffang nodded and led the others out of the Dark Forest.

Seto looked thoughtful for a second before responding, "Leaf-bare is a hard time of year. Many times, I have gone hungry in order to feed my brother. You were lucky that you found your Clan. Everything that you went through, made you stronger. You are a cat worthy of respect."

Sun padded silently through the trees, keeping downwind of Shadowstar so she could not scent him. He paused, waiting for orders from his controllers.

"I could change that. I could make the blood that runs though my veins run out on to the grass and seep thought the ground. " Shadow retorted at him. "That is nothing that you can do that will not make me looked at you, my mother, and my self without disgonoring myself. " she spatted at brave.
Leaf looked at Blood. "There is always time. " She remarked with power welling up in her

Lucky would have been when ever cat let me in without having to work Six time harder than an apprentice, lucky would have been to be accepted by all the appendices, but no they put picklers in my moss. They in shethed their claws in training, they pushed me around like I was a mouse!" she continued feeling the anger building in her. She knew she needed to leave before she began a fight and ended up getting the injured cat killed.
