Blackheart stepped out of the den and hissed, "You two better have a good reason for waking me up."

Frozenslash turned to Blackheart, and tried to adopt a pose of confidence and authority. 'Don't sound so grumpy, Blackheart,' she said with her eyes narrowed. 'I'm sorry for disturbing you, but I myself, had a nightmare.. I just needed some fresh air.' She sighed before further adding, 'well, now that you're awakened, it's pretty close to dawn... we may as well all go on the dawn patrol, what d'you say ?'

[Shadowstar]

"Whats going on out here i was eating prey in my dream" shadwostar meowed. "And i think you both know it is not good when you wake a leader who is dreaming about prey." she muttered. "Please explain before i end up fighting someone i am not in a good mood to deal with drama." she continued.

Frozenslash raised her eyes in surprise. Her leader was talking about fighting her own clan members ?! She was really quite surprised. 'Uhm, we were just going on the dawn patrol. I know it's a little early; i woke up earlier than I expected. Sorry to wake you.' She flicked her tail to the other cats, hoping they would follow her.

[Eclipsesoul]

She froze. She looked at Shadowstar. "Um... its my fault, Sh-Shadowstar." she said, nervously bowing her head. She backed away three steps. "Sorry.... i didn't mean to disturb you two." she said, looking at Blackheart.

Frozenslash felt guilty, it was kind of her fault, really.. she was the one who had come out of the den in the first place. 'No, it wasn't really Eclipsesoul.. I was the first to come out. Anyway, Shadowstar we'll make it up to you by bringing back heaps of prey!' She swallowed nervously; she was aware that Shadowstar didn't really like her.

[Eclipsesoul]

She glanced at Frozenslash, then nodded to Shadowstar, running out. She ran up a tree a quarter mile from the camp. There was a female blue jay in a nest, asleep. She stalked it. Then, the blue jay awoke at looked at Eclipsesoul. she flew out of her nest, but stayed close, because there were two small baby birds, yelling in fear. Eclipsesoul folded her ears back. "Your a mother." she said to the bird. Then she backed away and jumped out of the tree. She would not kill the blue jay, she would let her raise her young for as long as she can.

Frozenslash was amazed at her fellow warrior's caring. Then, she thought, she probably would have done the same thing, in her position. After all, it was only fair. She watched Eclipsesoul for a few heartbeats longer, than began stalking a small field mouse. She padded after it, watching and waiting carefully as it sat up, before resuming its nibbling. She got close, so close.. before it took running. She hissed and pounded after it, reaching out a paw with a long - tipped claw extended. She caught the mouse near the bottom of its back and she heard the faintest of squeals before it went limp in her paw. She grabbed it up, thanking StarClan for its life. Then, she trotted back to the other warrior.

[Eclipsesoul]

She saw a squirrel looking for nuts on the ground. It was fairly close, so she pounced. She nipped it on the neck before it got a chance to escape. She buried it for later and sniffed for more prey. She soon smelled a mouse in the brush. She accidentally stepped on a twig and it ran towards a small hole in the ground. She sprinted after it, avoiding the thorny rose bushes in her path. It went down the hole, but Eclipsesoul dug. Luckily, the hole was small and shallow. The mouse frantically tried to escape, but Eclipsesoul killed it.

[Shadowstar]

shadowstar stormed back to her den and tried to go back to sleep and dream of her prey but she could not go back to sleep so she got up and cleaned herself then wen't and got prey. the one in her dream taste sweeter, better,she wanted that prey back.

[Eclipsesoul]

She sat and licked the pad on her paw. The twig she had stepped on had cut it, and it bled. She wrinkled her nose at the taste of the blood. She then put her paw gently on the ground and went over to where she had buried her squirrel. She dug it out and put her mouse next to it, then buried it again.

[Shadowstar]

Shadowstar went out to hunt for a better tasting mouse. she found a vole but she wanted a mouse so she left it alone. She walked a little farther and found a mouse. she hunted and then pounced once she was close enough. She killed it will a swift bit and she started to eat it. It tasted a little like her dream mouse. she sighed. "I guess i will never find my dream mouse." she walked off to the lake for a swim. maybe a little water is what she needed.

Her dream mouse ? Frozenslash was a little confused by that, but she new better than to question her leader over the matter. If she wanted to tell her, she would, Frozenslash was sure. She continued to look around for prey, but she didn't seem to be having much luck.. she sighed crossly, making herself focus on the sounds and scents of the forest. Ahh.. there! she thought, smelling a rabbit, quite nearby. She padded onwards, hoping to reach it quickly.

[Eclipsesoul]

She couldn't find any more prey, they had probably gone in their burrows by now, so she went back to camp and dropped her prey on the fresh-kill pile. She layed down next to it and began to eat a mouse.

[Shadowstar]

Shadowstar reached the water and syart to get in it and swim are around but she saw something out in the water she swam over to it. She looked at it. It was a sack! she draged it to shore. and she opened to find stuff in it but she smelled a cat.

[Eclipsesoul]

She saw Shadowstar with a sack and walked slowly over to her. "What's that?" she asked shyly. She looked at her paws because she wasn't sure if Shadowstar thought she was being nosy and she should leave. She looked up again and glanced at the sack, then back at Shadowstar. She took a step back.

[Shadowstar]

"I found this in the lake. It smells like there is a cat inside." she said frantic.
