What the loner had said had pushed shadow over the edge. She whipped around and attacked him. She bared her teeth in his face. "You are not the leader of MY clan, and you are not MY deputy. So you have no interest in my clan. Stay off of our land or you will be killed. " she told him and jumped off of him and ran off

"Thank you, sir. But, I could have handled myself just fine," Mousepaw meowed to Seto.
Seto stood up, shook himself, and stared after Shadowstar before replying, "I know you could have. But you need to respect your parents. That being said, it was better that I handle it than you. You have a good heart and a sharp mind, you'll make a fantastic warrior. Now, you should probably go after your mother."
Mousepaw nodded and raced after her, looking back every few seconds at Seto and wondering about him. He soon caught up to his mother. He looked at her silently, his amber eyes reflecting the warrior he was always meant to be.

Shadow stopped, she turned to mousepaw. "Mousepaw what i am i going to do with you. You realize if the wind wasnt blowing the right way, tree could have killed you right?" SHe asked him with her eyes shining with worry that her son could have been hurt.

"He wouldn't have been able to. My scent was still fresh from when I was with father and the others. Therefore, had the wind changed, he would have just assumed that it was from earlier. Besides, I can handle myself. I was trained by you and father after all," Mousepaw meowed, meeting his mother's gaze evenly.

"You won't lose me, mother. I'm not gonna die before I become a warrior.....Mother, who was that strange loner?" Mousepaw meowed, wondering about him.
Blackheart paced anxiously back at the camp, wondering where his son was. He would have gone out to find him, but he had to keep an eye on his other two kits. He expected Blackpaw to run off....but not Mousepaw.
"I think Mousepaw's warrior name should be Mousebrain," Blackpaw meowed.
Blackheart sent him a silencing glare before resuming his pacing.

" his name is Seto. And if he steps in our land he will be mouse food. " she told him and walked the rest of the way to camp and walked in. She saw Blackheart pacing.

Blackheart caught sight of his mate and son and rushed over to them at once. He rubbed his head against Shadowstar's affectionately before turning to his son. He looked down at him sternly, furious yet at the same time glad he was still alive. Mousepaw looked back at his father unflinchingly, his mind still on Seto.
"I think that's kinda mean, Mother. Personally, I liked him. What do you think it's like, being a loner?" Mousepaw meowed.

"You can ask Leaf next time we see her. " She replied to him. Then she quickly added. "That was not the first time he has questioned my leadership young one, and im sure it wont be the last. So i believe that punishment for him is fair." She replied calmly as Blackheart rubbed her head

"But he was just trying to help. I think that every leader needs an outside perspective. It's unbiased, so the leader can trust what they have to say," Mousepaw meowed, his head tilted slightly to the side.

"Ill tell you later." Shadow told him with sleepiness in her voice. then she turned to mousepaw. "You will not bring this up again understand?" She asked dhim. "If you want to know more about loners and rogues talk to leaf." She told her kit and went to her den

"All of you, get some rest. The three of you have a big day tomorrow," Blackheart meowed, following his mate.
Mousepaw's paws prickled with frustration, he had never been so curious about anything in his life. He went to the apprentices den with his other siblings, waiting for them to fall asleep. When they did, he snuck out of camp, making his way toward WolfClan. When he arrived at the camp, he ran into Wolffang.
"Do you know where Leaf is?" Mousepaw meowed.
"She's in my father's den, waiting for him. Did you see him at all on your way here? He hasn't come back since the confrontation with the Tribe cats," Wolffang meowed worridely.
Mousepaw shook his head no before making his way into the leader's den, where he found Leaf.
"Leaf, can I ask you something? What's it like, being a loner?" Mousepaw asked curiously.

Shadow went to her nest and laid down. The she just gave a small laugh.
Leaf stirred when mousepaw padded into the den. She smiled. "Isnt it a little late for you to be out and on enemy territory?" She asked him. The she realized his question. "Well its harder then life in the clans, you have to hunt for yourself, when it comes to leaf-bare more loners and rogues seem to die unknowingly. Because we dont have the herbs to help us if we get sick and some of the loners dont even know what are good to use and what isnt. " SHe told him calmly.
(OCC: BTW i made a post in tigerclan territory for seto and nightrose if you wanna rp them

"Its not really enemy territory since some of my family lives here. Besides, I'm always welcome in WolfClan since I look like I'm one of them...Is life as a loner really that hard? Isn't there anything good about being a loner?" Mousepaw meowed.
Blackheart looked at his mate, smiling slightly before asking, "What's so funny?"

Leaf laughed. "That maybe but you should return home. " she told him. "Come on I'll take you back. " she got up.
Shadow looked at him. "I now understand why my mother just dropped me off. " she replied.

Blackheart just looked at his mate quizzically, waiting for her to continue.
Mousepaw sighed in defeat and followed after his aunt. Though his curiosity about the world of the loners' remained unsatisfied, he decided it was best to follow along with what she said.

Leaf looked at mousepaw, "and to answer your last question, i regretted leaving star and the kits." She told him and continued.
"If my kits are this bad and challenging each other on everything, i could only imagine how much i challenged her when i was a kit. And wither or not i grew up the way my father would be proud." She said finally after laughing and gt into a serious tone

"I'm sure your father is so proud of what you have accomplished in your life. Besides, I don't think the kits got all the crazy genes from you, they got some from me too. I may not seem like it now, but I was quite the wildfire when I was a kit," Blackheart meowed, remembering his early years.
Mousepaw twitched his ears and walked out of the den, stopping as he saw Wolffang coming closer, her expression still worried from earlier.
"Leaf, have you heard anything from Star? I haven't seen him since the argument with the Tribe," Wolffang growled.

Leaf backed up a few steps when WolfFang growled and her ears folded back. " No I haven't. I feel asleep in his den. I'm an going to take mousepaw back. " she told her and began to walk around her.
Shadow smiled. " Come on we have a kit to find. " she said and got back up.

Blackheart smiled and walked beside her, his pelt brushing against hers as they walked out.
Wolffang followed after them, hoping to find her father by traveling with them. Mousepaw's tail twitched, happy that his cousin decided to tag along.
Star laid his head on his paws, his mind spinning with a multitude of questions about the path StarClan had laid ahead of him. He knew he shouldn't have acted the way he had, helping others was the WolfClan way. Since his leadership, the Clans had been at peace. Now, that peace was on the verge of collapsing. He sighed, for once in his life not knowing what to do.
