Eagle padded along the border with stormclaw when suddenly she heard a screech.
"What the hell is THAT?!" That was blendpaw! She knew her from gatherings.
Eaglestar spun around to where the sound came from.
"Come one stormclaw. They sound like they're in trouble!"

Frozenslash padded up to them both. 'What on earth was that??' he mewed, every muscle tense. He looked around carefully before turning to Eagle. 'Where did the sound come from?' He asked, 'Quickly! It could be important to tell if they're enemy or friend.'
