Blood

[Star (Noblelion)]

Star shook himself, trying to get ahold of himself. He would not let Blood intimidate him. He was not the same scared little kit he had been when he had first met Blood. He was a warrior, a leader, he would not allow Blood to live and destroy others lives. He looked over at Shadowstar for a fraction of a second, making sure she was okay. Then he turned his attention back to Blood and growled.

Sun looked at Leaf sympathetically before meowing, "I understand. But you don't need to worry about Star, I'm sure he can hold his own."

"Pretty well considering the fact that I'm practically dying," Nightwing meowed sarcastically.

[Shadowstar]

Shadow saw Star look at her. She nodded to him and waited for him to lose his chance and for hers to open up. She watched Star and flipped back and forth between him and Blood. She must spill his blood with her claws, she was the only one who can truely hurt him. There may be a prophacy about him but she didnt care, he will fail and she will win and she will kill Blood.

Leaf looked at Sun. "I dont know, i feel that something is wrong. I can tell something is going to mess up and someone who is not Blood will die, and its a strong enough vib to be a leader." She told him. Star wasn't the only leader in there, Shadow was a leader too. she looked over to Night, and looked at her. "Your not going to die i can not feel your death coming and if i can predict anything its death. and your not going to. " she snored. "As long as you do as your told." She hinted.

Blood looked at Star then switched his gaze to Shadowstar. He looked into her eyes and chuckled softly.

"Looks like you might really be my daughter. Killing Star and then killing me, that's pretty evil even by my standards," Blood hissed.

Star looked at Shadowstar in shock, his eyes asking if what Blood said was true.

Sun looked at Leaf, his eyes sympathetic, and meowed, "I'm sure Star will be fine, and he won't let anything happen to Shadowstar."

[Shadowstar]

Shadow looked at Blood, her eyes flickered over to Star. She showed no noticed to his questions, Blood was not going to screw up this chance. He had no hold on her anymore, he betrayed her, he lied to her, he was going to die. Star was just a bonus death if she could manage to kill him.

Leaf looked at Sun "If what Noblelion had said was true, Star would turn his back on her. He wont trust her, he would let her die, she can not die." Leaf told him. "She would have a good reason to help Blood, there must be something her told her he would do if she brought Star and other into the dark forest to him." She said trying to think of what Blood could give her in return of freedom.

Blackheart stepped past Eagletalon and stood next to Shadowstar, whispering in her ear, "Shadowstar, don't do it. Don't kill Star, my only brother. Be the example our kits need; don't kill Star, please."

Sun looked thoughtful for a second before saying, "Power. He must have offered her power."

[Shadowstar]

"I wont as long as he doesn't kill blood or get in my way." Shadow told him. "He is my father and i promised Leaf I would kill him and thats what im going to do. " Shadow told him.

Leaf looked at sun. "But she already has power over one clan what else could she need. She has family, and thats better then power." Leaf told him. She ran over to nightwing. "Nightwing Im sorry." Leaf cut her just a little bit so little bit of blood was on her claws. And she ran into the dark forest.

Blackheart nodded anxiously and stepped back. Star twitched his ear as he heard their short conversation. He growled at Blood angrily. He decided that he would attack him and injure Blood, however, he would let Shadowstar deal the final blow. Blood looked at Star and became worried as he saw the burning fire in his eyes. However, he would not let it stop him from attacking. He pounced, and Star rolled as Blood crashed into him each one trying to be the one on top as they clawed and bit each other.

"Be patient, Shadowstar, Star will let you deal the final blow," Noblelion growled, knowing his son's plan.

Sun watched the she-cat he loved disappear into the Dark Forest without him. His heart ached as he wished he could follow her.

"Stay safe, my love," Sun whispered.

[Shadowstar]

Shadows paws just itched to go and attack Blood but she stayed where she was and waited for her chance. She watched as they got into the fight and waited for her chance to get in it and kill Blood.

Leaf ran threw the forest in an atempt to find the group of cats, when she finally found them she saw shadowstar on the side line looking for the time to kill. "STOP! DONT DO IT SHADOW!!!!" she yowled.

Star heard Leaf's voice, and he threw Blood off him at once and stood up. The others looked at him worridly, his pelt was was matted and covered in blood. Who's blood? No one could say for sure. Star, however, stood up proud and tall despite his weariness and he snarled angrily. Blood growled and looked at Leaf, hope shimmering in his eyes.

"Daughter, have you come to help?" Blood growled.

[Shadowstar]

Shadow looked at leaf. Her eyes with sorrow and she attacked Blood. She knew it was her moment to attack Blood, her eyes quickly glanced over to star and saw him covered in blood. Rage filled shadow and she tried to find the right time for the kill blow.

Lwaf watched as shadow ran into battle with Blood. "SHADOW NO HE'LL KILL YOU!" she yowled. But she just watched knowing it may have been to late.

Blood snarled and disappeared into the shadows. Star looked around frantically and Blood slammed into him, sending him rolling. Star scrambled up and pounced at Blood who, once again, disappeared into the shadows. Star growled angrily. How could they beat someone who could disappear at will?

"You can't beat me, little warriors. I hold too much power here to be defeated by the likes of you," Blood laughed coldly, his voice seeming to come from everywhere.

Star looked over at Shadowstar, trying to come up with a plan. He thought of the prophecy, hoping there was something in there that could help them.

[Shadowstar]

Shadow looked down at her empty claws and then she heard what blood had said. Shadow smiled. "You see Blood thats where your wrong. There are some many times i am happy im your daughter, and this is one of those moments." Shadow said and disappeared. Then she reappeared next to blood and pinned him down. "You dont have to dead to be able to do it. Just in the right spot." She growled at him.

Leaf watched in horror. She was confused what was going on.

Blood disappeared and Star growled angrily.

"I'm tired of these games. Come out and face us, you coward," Star snarled.

"As you wish," Blood laughed coldly.

Suddenly, Blackheart collapsed. He arose a second later, his eyes blood red instead of their normal amber. He sneered at them and laughed coldly.

"You wanted to face me, now you can. You, my daughter, cannot do this for you possess a body. I, however, am merely a shadow and as such I possess no body, allowing me to transfer my soul into others" Blackheart said, his voice sounding just like Blood's.

Star gazed at his brother in horror and anger. He could not believe that Blood would sink low enough to take over his brother's body!

"You have no soul, you evil demon!" Star snarled.

"Mind, soul, consciousness, it makes no difference. The result remains the same: I have complete control over the cat the two of you hold dear," Blood retorted through Blackheart's body.

(OOC: to make things easier, While Blackheart is controlled by Blood, I'll call him Bloodheart)

"How dare you father!" Shadow said. She looked at blackheart and she knew it was either kill him or he would kill her. She would rather for him to kill her than her kill him. "Father stop. If you want to go back kill me and take my body but leave Blackheart and My kits out of it." She told him. "Kill me." She demanded him. She looked at star her eyes telling him not to interfer.

Leaf watched shadow with horro in her eyes at what her sister was saying. "How could you shadow!" She asked her.

Shadow looked at leaf. "I can't kill my mate and i know star can't kill his brother. Who ever kills him will be out casted but me or Star. NO one can touch him. If he wants a body to go back He can have mine." She said her voice shakey.

"How....noble of you, Shadowstar. But why would I want the body of a she-cat when I could have a cat of my own gender?" Bloodheart sneered.

Star growled, he had to think of a way to get out of this. A sudden a idea came to him and he rushed over to Shadowstar.

"Shadowstar, even though he is controlled by Blood, Blackheart is still in there somewhere. If we can get Blackheart to show himself, maybe he can overthrow Blood and free himself!" Star whispered in Shadowstar's ear.

[Shadowstar]

Shadow looked at Star and nodded. Her eyes telling him to go first, she would only step in if they needed something strong. She turned to Blood. "I offered my body because wouldnt you rather have a cat with your own blood in it? My blood is your blood. Any blood of mine i spill, i spill of yours. Your powers would be stronger if you had a body of your own blood." She told him trying to destract blood.

Leaf watched shadow and star carefully trying to figure out what they were planning

Bloodheart sneered and replied, "Why would I want your body when I know that many cats wouldn't hesitate to kill you? In Blackheart's body, nobody would lay a claw on me."

"Brother, remember when we used to go hunting with Nightstream and Rainstorm? Don't you remember how much you loved Rainstorm? How much you still love her? What would she think if she saw you like this, brother?" Star whispered, his eyes sad.

Bloodheart's eyes turned amber momentarily as he whispered, "Rainstorm."

A second later his eyes turned back to scarlet and he snarled, "Rainstorm is dead. She left me here all alone. Just as Sootpelt left you."

Star lowered his head. Though Sootpelt may be gone, she would always live on in his heart and watch over him and their kits. He felt certain that Rainstorm would do the same, but he would not say anything in case he was wrong.

[Shadowstar]

Shadow looked at star, she knew it was her turn. "Blackheart. Look at me think of our kits. They can't grow up with out their father. I cant raise them without you." She told him. "Remember all our time together, come back to me blackheart. Fight him I need you, Our kits need you." she said almost in tears.

Leaf Just sat there and watched.

"Our kits?" whispered Bloodheart, his eyes flashing amber then back to red.

"Remeber what it was like helping me raise my kits after Sootpelt died? Remember how we both fought so hard to overthrow Noblelion when he was a tyrant? Remember the bond you share with us, Blackheart!" Star meowed.

"I fought beside you. But, instead of making me your deputy as you should have, you turned your back on me!" Bloodheart hissed angrily.

Star looked away guiltily. He had his reasons for denying Blackheart that right. But for now, the knowledge would only drive Blackheart closer to Blood.

[Shadowstar]

"Blackheart, Please come back we need you. I eed you. I dont think i can go on if my father has you. over pwer him...... PLease if i need to i will spill me blood if it will help." Shadow pleaded. "Please father let him go." She asked with er last chance hanging on by a thread.
