"maybe not but it was just seconds after my father left. There are now cats above to see these thing and warn me." shadow told Blackheart. Then she turn to snakewing. " are you still doubting my ability to be your leader?" she ashes him. The she looked at rabbitfoot. " that sounds like a lovely idea rabbitfoot. " shadow said and bowed. "ok here is how it will work those who wish to still follow starclan go to that side of the camp. " she said pointing to the left with her tail. " and those who wish to stay with me and believe that I can lead you to a longer life and be peaceful. Come to that side of the camp. " she continued using her tail to point to the right side of the camp.

Half the cats- which included Snakewing, Grassclaw, and a number of others- went to the left.
Rabbitfoot looked at her leader for a second before saying, "I trust my leader's judgement."
Rabbitfoot then went to the right half of the camp, followed by a few others. Blackheart hesitated for a second before going to the right side, though he still looked uneasy and somewhat apprehensive. Finally, Eagletalon was the only one left in the middle of the camp. Each side had the same number of cats, and Eagletalon would be the deciding vote. Eagletalon stood there, frozen, unsure of which side to choose.

Shadow looked among her clan and then looked at eagle. " well eagle you are the vote that decides everything. " shadow told her. She waited for eagle to choose which side.

"I-I...," Eagletalon stammered nervously.
"Will you hurry up and decide already? Some cats have better things to do than wait for you to make up your mind. Honestly, is it really that hard to choose," meowed a golden brown tom with dark blue eyes, sitting on a rock ledge.
"Silence, loner, it's a tough-not to mention life-changing- decision to make!" Eagletalon snarled, rounding on the newcomer.
"Really? Let's see: your living breathing leader that stands before you now, or a bunch of dead cats that don't even exist anymore? Hmm... you're right, it is a tough choice," the tom meowed sarcastically.
"Take that back you filthy loner, you don't even belong here!" Snakewing snarled.
"I wasn't talking to you. Besides, who are you to decide who belongs where? We make our own paths and our own decisions," the tom meowed, his voice cool and emotionless.
Snakewing snarled and pounced on the tom, pinning him to the ground. The tom did nothing to stop him and only sneered at Snakewing. Snakewing growled and prepared to kill him. However, that's when Blackheart pushed him off.
"Only Shadowstar gets to decide who lives and who dies in her Clan," Blackheart growled, looking at his mate.

"snake wing! Enough. Go to the warrior den, we know your decision. " shadow yowled at him. Shadow looked at the Tom. "What brings you here loner?" she asked him. "eagle relax, your choice may change a lot, but it is your choice. Dont let anyone change that. " shadow meowed to her.

"Just passing through. I heard some commotion and came over to see what was going on. Your Clan seems to be quite divided," the tom meowed in an offhand way.
"That's none of your concern, loner-" Snakewing snarled.
"I happen to have a name, you know," the tom meowed, sneering slightly.
Snakewing snarled but Blackheart cut across him and meowed, "And what pray tell would that be?"
"Seto."
Eagletalon nodded gratefully to Shadowstar before stepping back a pace.

Shadow hopped down. "Well seto would you mind coming down here and talk to me for a moment." She asked the loner kindly. Then she turned to SnakeWing. "If i hear another meow from your muzzle you will be visiting Starclan shortly. Am I Clear?" She asked him with a growl in her tone.
TeaPaw was heading back to camp from doing a solo hunt. When she came closer to the entrance she heard that something was going on in the clan. Her mother was talking to a loner. TeaPaw shook it off and walked into camp. All of a sudden she dropped her vole. The whole clan was split in half. "Whats going on?" She squeaked.

"We're deciding wether to join Shadowstar or StarClan," Mousepaw meowed, standing next to Blackpaw and Blackheart.
"No need to get so snippy, Shadowstar. I was merely trying to resolve the conflict within your Clan. I would've thought you would be more appreciative," Seto replied, unglazed by her threats.

Teapaw pause for a moment then went and stood next to Blackheart.
Shadow looked at Seto. "my clan has no conflict. " she said calmly.

"Huh, could've fooled me. Then why is your Clan on opposite sides deciding wether or not to follow a bunch of dead cats?" Seto meowed, smirking.
Blackheart looked down at his daughter and smiled at her slightly, licking her ear affectionately.
"Everything's going to be fine," Blackheart meowed to Teapaw, Blackpaw, and Mousepaw.

Blackheart purred as he looked at his daughter. His mind began wandering off, wondering what his kits' warrior names would be.

"oh now does it.." shadow asked him with sarcasm. "the message is from a young cat named Sootpelt. I believe you knew her." she began. " Her message to you was ' Thank you, young dragon.' " shadow told him and her eyes palled from her conversation with sootpelt. She was the only starclan cat she would never lose faith in. "oh and if you believe my clan has a conflict how do you believe we should go on?" she asked him wanting to know what his answer would be. Teapaw looked at her father and then at her brother and sister. She had the perfect warrior names for her and her family. 'TeaIce, Blackweb, and Mouselife. ' she wanted that to be their names. She would have to talk to her mother. Soon. (Occ: sorry it took a while for my last post I didn't feel good for a while and then I got busy. But I'm fine now the only other time I might take a while for me to post will be June 16 - 21 I'm going on vacation and then getting my wisdoms teeth pulled and I will be on planet Pluto. I may try to post anyways, fair warning if I do then it may be a little crazy  ) |

Seto's eyes widened in surprise at Shadowstar's message before he quickly regained his composure, keeping his face blank and expressionless once more.
"Well, you don't want to kick them out, and you don't want to keep them in your Clan either so...kill them with kindness. Be nice to them, make them think you're on their side. Then, slowly, bring them over to your way of thinking," Seto responded.
(OOC: lol I understand completely. Trust me though, once you get your wisdom teeth pulled, you won't feel like doing anything. It's very painful, I had to do it last year -_-)

Shadow saw the second of pure surprise in his face. "but you see Seto when my clan has their mind set on something they really don't change it. The same with me. " shadow turned to eagle. "make your choice when you are sure. My friend I will not punish you for the side you choose ." she said with a smile.
Teapaw looked at her father. "Father do you think I could help mother?" Teapaw looked at him with big round blue eyes.

"Teapaw....well, I suppose it wouldn't hurt," Blackheart meowed, unable to say no to his daughter.
"They'll have to change their minds eventually...how do you know Sootpelt?" Seto meowed.
Eagletalon's eyes shone in relief before he looked around at the gathered cats saying, "We shall discuss this another time. For now we need hunting and border patrols. Go."
The cats dispersed, leaving the camp in groups.

Teapaw looked at her father. "mouse dung I was too late..." she said stomping her little paws.
Shadow looked at Seto "Seto please come into my den and we will talk about this. " she asked him calmly as her clan walked out of camp.
A few cat lingered to see what was going to happen between Seto and shadow. But they didn't stay long. Some went to their dens to get some sleep. Other followed everyone else out of camp to hunt.

"Don't worry, my little Teapaw. You can tell her later. For now, how about the four of us go hunt while your mother talks to the loner?" Blackheart meowed.
Seto nodded and followed, somewhat hesitantly, behind Shadowstar. Eagletalon followed behind to stand guard at the leader's den.
"So, how do you know Sootpelt?" Seto growled, making himself comfortable on the den floor.

"She was a prisoner with me and my little brother. You see, there was an evil cat named Goza and he well...let's just say that he needed subjects to rule. I managed to help her escape and killed Goza...her mate, Star, was the one who told me she had died," Seto meowed.
"Slow down Teapaw!" Blackheart warned.
"Yeah, we don't want any eagles to get you," Blackpaw snickered.
