Star paced anxiously near the rogue border, wondering if Shadowstar and the others would show up. In addition to himself, Star had brought his kits and Stormclaw of SnakeClan. Wolffang watched her father worriedly.
"Don't worry, Star, they'll show up," Skystorm meowed.
Star nodded and resumed pacing.
"Even if they don't, we can still take them. And it'll show that EagleClan is just a bunch of cowards," Stormclaw meowed.

Shadowstar walked behind them with blackheart and eagletalon behind her. "Stormclaw watch your tounge or a cat from eagleclan will slice it off." Shadow threatened. "Star." She said nodding towards him. "So what is the plan?" She asked him and shot a quick glare at stormclaw.

Star stopped his pacing and nodded at Shadowstar then replied, "I figured we'd go straight for the direct approach. We go into the cave and wait for him to return. I've had my warriors keeping an eye on him, he usually comes back around this time with Blazefire. In the meantime we must discuss a few things, Shadowstar."
Eagletalon glared angrily at Stormclaw, the looked over at Wolffang. Wolffang met his gaze and Eagletalon looked away, blushing.

"Very well star." Shadow agreed and bowed. "Blackheart, eagletalon, i want you two around the cave hidden and keep alert, we are about to enter somewhere where every eagleclan cat swore never to go." Shadowstar told them.

"First of all, you must control your anger, and any other emotions as well, around Noblelion, for he can and will use them against you. You must keep calm and try not to look too threatening, otherwise he will be on his guard and not say anything. Other than that, stay aware of everything around you, Shadowstar," Star meowed, not showing how apprehensive he felt about the meeting.
"You forgot one thing: try not to get killed," Blackheart meowed, trying to lighted the mood with his bleak humor.

Shadowstar looked at her mate and purred with laughter... "Dont worry dear if her threatens me i will not let him get to me." Then she turned to star. "And star i know noblelion well enough to not let him get to me.. but i will be aware." Shadow snapped. " We better get moving Noble will be in his cave soon." Shadowstar said and waited for star to lead the way.

Star nodded and walked into the cave, as he passed by Wolffang he said, "Try to keep your eyes out for Noblelion instead of on Eagletalon."
Wolffang nodded and said to the other warriors, "Spread out inside the cave, that way when Noblelion comes we can block him in."
"Why would you want to block me in?" Noblelion meowed, his muscles rippling under his golden tabby pelt as he stepped into the cave.

Shadow snapped around. "Long time no see noblelion." Shadow meowed as peacefully as she could but she failed and a few growls came out. " Sorry to intruded your home but we must talk." Shadow said and nodded to the warriors hoping they understood once he was farther in to block the enternce let no one in or out.

Noblelion looked at Shadowstar, amused at her failed attempt to conceal her anger, and meowed, "I thought EagleClan only knew how to grunt and fight. Who knew they could talk? Your Clan has come a long way!"
Eagletalon hissed angrily and prepared to pounce. He looked at Shadowstar, looking for permission.
Star sighed and meowed, "Still your tongue, Noblelion. We come for information."

Shadowstar shook her head no, but her paws said another thing. He claws we unsheth and she was ready to pounce at the next moment he insulted her clan. "Noblelion it would be smart to watch who you insult. We came in peace but i can change that." Shadowstar theaten forgeting what Star had told her before they entered.

"Peace? Your Clan knows nothing of peace! And you have no shot at defeating me either," Noblelion meowed, washing his face, apparently unconcerned by Shadowstar's veiled threat.
Skystorm stepped in front of Shadowstar and whispered, "We won't gain anything if you attack him."
Wolffang took up a position nearby Eagletalon, in case he disobeyed his leader's orders.
"Noblelion, we mean no harm. Just tell us what we need to know and we'll be out of your fur," Star whispered.

Shadow gave a low growl. then she walked over to star and put her muzzle to his ear. "This is the reason i did not want to come. There can NEVER be peace between noblelion and eagleclan. If you need eagleclan we will be outside of the cave so we do not do something that eagleclan does not need at the moment." Shadowstar said and nodded to her warriors and walked out of the cave and sat at the mouth of it looking out. She hoped her warroirs would fallow behind her. She did not want a war between noblelion and eagleclan at the moment.

Star twitched his ear, somewhat irritated that Shadowstar left him alone.
"Trouble in paradise, my sons?" Noblelion asked.
Star's ears lay flat against his head in anger, while Blackheart looked away. Blackheart had waited his whole life for Noblelion to address him as HIS son, he could not leave whilst Noblelion was willing to admit that they had some sort of relationship. All the cats sat there quietly, at a loss for words.
Nightwing padded over to Eagletalon and Shadowstar and hissed, "Don't just sit there like a couple of foxhearted cowards! Go in there and help them!"

"Anything i say noblelion will turn around." Shadow said. But she got up and walked in the cave. She turned around to her warrior. "Stay close incase something happens." Shadow walked back in and sat next to star again. Shadow heard what Noblelion said to star and anger rose up in her. "Hey noblelion stars not your only son and blackheart, my love, if you want him to say something you need to speak up." She said and nuzzled blackheart trying to get blackheart to say something.

"You...you've always acted like Star's your only son. You never ONCE noticed how hard I worked to get your approval. You turned me against my own brother. Why?" Blackheart choked out.
Star looked away as Noblelion replied, "Would you have worked as hard as you did had I not done so? I've always had your best interests at heart, my son."
Wolffang lashed her tail angrily, she knew Noblelion was lying through his teeth. He was just trying to turn them against each other!

Shadow stood up. "Enough noblelion we are in a mouse hole and we need your help to get out. Listen to what we have to offer or we will send the problem to you." Shadow snapped. "Star speak and if anyone interrupts while he speaks someone will lose part of their ear and i think every cat in here is very fond of their ears." Shadow threaten and then sat downand waited for star to speak for he could explain what is going on better than she could. For one she had no clue about what was going on...

Star cleared his throat and meowed, "We came here to learn more about Blood."
Noblelion narrowed his eyes, folded his ears back, and flexed his claws. It appeared that he did not like that name being used in his prescence.
"We know, or at least I know, that you had a previous alliance with him. And we would like to know more about it," Star meowed, trying to keep his voice calm.
"And what makes you think we'll say anything?" meowed a cold voice.
A dark ginger tom with a white stripe on his spine appeared from the shadows. Stormclaw and Eagletalon snarled angrily, this cat had destroyed most of their families! Blazefire looked calmly back at them, seemingly unconcerned.

"Noblelion tell us what you know or we will have him DESTROY you and your clan." Shadow said getting a little mad that he was being so rude. 'if he does not answer i will force him to answer.' Shadow flexed her claws once more. "Noble lion we come in peace, the peace wont last much longer for eagleclan." Shadow theaten.

Blazefire looked at his 'leader,' his eyes saying No! Don't say anything!
Noblelion ignored him and resigned himself to the fact that he would have to tell them.
"If you want to know the whole story, we're gonna be here awhile. Now, if you want me to begin, i suggest you send out some of your warriors to hunt, then make yourselves comfortable. It's gonna be a long story."

Shadow Retracted her claws. She nodded to her warriors to do the same and calm down but still be on alert. "Are you sure we are welcome to hunt on your territory for now?" Shadow asked making sure her warriors would not get attacked.
